I wrote “Arrow” with an interest in exploring sounds that were more American folk and American Rock styled. I have always liked the idea that the arrow as a primitive yet precise weapon. It seems acoustic and folky to me. I like that they are sharp, edgy, and fierce. These attitudes and moods were paid mind during creation of the song. A light in the dark, a shot from my heart!
