This song has always been a blessing to not only myself, but to many other people in my life. My mom was the church mother at the time it was written, and she and the other Mothers would often request that I sing it for them. My mom sadly passed away on Thanksgiving Day in 2020. To honor her life, I decided to record this song as a tribute to her and all mothers everywhere.
Though I was already working on a song for my EP which will be released later on this year, the singles this fall, I felt called to record “Falling in Love with Jesus” as a source of healing and comfort after such a challenging year.
