April 2020 – Makeaveli Wealthy is a rap artist based in Roosevelt, New York. He creates music that is not just about entertaining the audience. In fact, this talented 20 year-old rapper is all about setting the bar higher with content that’s fun, inspiring, but also rich in spiritual meaning and knowledge. His lyrics are intricate and engaging, allowing his insightfulness to come through.
His most recent EP is titled “Warm Welcome,” and it is truly interesting, because it showcases the artist embracing a wide variety of musical influences, ranging from early hip-hop, to the modern age. I can hear influences as diverse as Wu-Tang Clan, Dave East and Kanye West, and it is amazing to see how old and new collide in Makeaveli Wealthy’s excellent musical offerings.
The songs on this EP are easy to relate to and incredibly diverse. However, there is one thing that holds them all together: the great quality of the production! The sounds are unbeatable and punchy, going for a modern feel.
