βLove and Joyβ is a revolutionary house music collaboration between Lady Albatross and Botshelo Moate. Well versed in traditional African drumming, Botshelo infuses his house music productions with a well rounded cultural and spiritual sound. Lady Albatross is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter, sound engineer who has a very versatile musical background. With a BA from Berklee College of Music and a Masters degree from Azusa Pacific University, Lady Albatross without a doubt displays her talents by masterfully playing several woodwind instruments and singing with her iconic voice. βLove and Joyβ brings together the best of their talents and cultural experiences by creating a revolutionary house music sound with hints of big band jazz, R&B, and even classical music.
In addition to the release of βLove and Joy,β Lady Albatross and Botshelo Moate will release a series of mini music videos based on their works, and a documentary sponsored by SAMRO. These mini music videos will capture the unique culture, scenery, and essence that inspired βLove and Joy.β
