FRITHR (PEACE) is a tribal and raw track with shamanic drums, throat-singing, and old Norse lyrics.
Sometimes mystic, sometimes ecstatic, but still about how you can be the flower that plants seeds of peace in the souls of others.
It is the second of two singles from the upcoming album Blóta, with songs musically related to Kjell Braaten’s work for the Netflix- series Vikings Valhalla.
Kjell braaten is a musician and producer specializing in ancient world music and instrument, and is probably most known for his participation in the band Wardruna, as a composer for film, as a solo artist and teacher in ancient Nordic music.
