    Oklahoma`s premier hip hop artist Robert C. Daniels II aka Dangerous Rob, known to his friends as D-Rob, has

    already made his mark in Japan, Germany, Australia and the UK. D-Rob recorded his first rap record at the age of 15 with a group named THOB-MOB, Graduated from Thomas Edison Prep School and he went on to Langston

    University where he majored in Broadcast/Journalism . Ultimately, he put his educational goals

    aside and released his second record. With the combined forces of Partners-N-Rhyme a local rap group,

    this record was distributed nationwide through a Independent label called ACI Records based out of Los Angeles, California. Their record independently sold

    more than 100,000 copies of the single “Cold Chillin in the Middle”. This popularity allowed the group a feature on the Arsenio Hall Show, and National Tours across the country.

    After 7 albums, Dogg Pound Next Generation General, Dangerous Rob, is on the horizon of celebrating his 25th landmark year officially in the music business. Dangerous Rob is heating up the airwaves with the first single from the album Dangerous Ways. The celebratory single, 100 Stacks, is titled to be a ladies anthem which is already garnering comments on Twitter with the pre-release in markets like Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and Oklahoma.

    Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it?

    100 Stacks is the first single from the new album Dangerous Wayz , and I wanted to lead off with a single for my core female fan base , and then gradually guide my fans into the raw reality songs from Dangerous Wayz and since this is my last album I and wanted to keep it real and get back to my roots of what got to this point with my music career. The next single is Diamonds going into the New Year and I am looking for a release date for new album late Spring or early Summer 2016

    How have you ended up in the music industry?

    Music came to me naturally , I was a battle rapper in High School when people would gather around in the hallway and listen to me rhyme, My big brother Charles Williams invested into us at an early age with a name Thob Mob and then Partners In Rhyme , which lead to the deal with ACI Records in Los Angeles, from there I managed to stay afloat and produce my own solo Records so here I am 25 years later still putting out records and I feel blessed to be able to continue to create and make quality music.

    What do you think of the present music industry?

    Well I believe the way the industry is now , its given veterans like myself an opportunity to make money on an independent level and also reach fans all across the world from the internet and social media.

    Who do you think the most influential artist?

    I was influenced by Run from Run-DMC, Ice Cube and Chuck D, I feel like all three of those guys pioneered music in some shape or form, now Snoop Dogg and Dr,Dre have been influential along with TIP, JAY Z, and Daz Dillinger,

    Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?

    I was signed with DPG Records and I have collaborated with Daz Dillinger and the Dogg Pound Next Generation.

    How do you think you differ from other artists?

    I was raised in Oklahoma which is the in Middle of the country, some tend to tie my style in to West Coast because of my West Coast roots, but my style is me and the reason it differs is because I am not trying to sound like anybody else.

    What was the first album you bought?

    It was between King of Rock by Run Dmc or Power from ICE T, I cant remember which one.

    What’s your favourite song at the moment?

    100 Stacks is my favorite record from new album.

    If you had to sell your music collection tomorrow, what album would you leave in your draw?

    ITZ A DANGEROUS WORLD.

    What is your favourite saying?

    Don`t sleep drink Folgers

    What other hobbies or interests do you have?

    I really like to read and study, spending time with my daughter and I been exploring different strategies and marketing techniques to move forward in the music industry with my label FREEDAM Records , I to attend a Happy hour every now and then, its mostly all work with me I am older play time is over .

    Do you have any tattoos or piercings?

    No piercings , but I do have my mother`s name tattooed on my neck, and my block on my chest.

    Tell us more about your upcoming project or this new project?

    We are working to complete the Dogg Pound Next Generation project, with us being in 6 different states its been challenging, but I would like to complete that reunion album, and also release SISTA Volume 2 which is a greatest hits series of mine.

    What’s in the pipeline after this project?

    Touring doing festivals overseas this summer ,and completing the album with my group Dogg Pound Next Generation.

    A. I believe because of my Longevity in the business and putting on for my state, I have been giving that title, but truth be told their are plenty of talented artist from Oklahoma.
