David Joseph was born in Melbourne 1954.
The Concerto for Piano and Orchestra was commissioned by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in 1996. This is a live recording of the premiere featuring Michael Kieran Harvey as soloist with Diego Masson conducting. This work is one of two concertos written for Michael Kieran Harvey, the other, written in 1992 is soon the be released through MOVE Records.
