Cil Unleashes Fiery New Single “Hot Shit” from EP don’t hold me accountable

Rising R&B-pop sensation Cil ignites the summer with her bold new single, “Hot Shit,” now available across all streaming platforms. The track is the lead single from her newly released EP, don’t hold me accountable.

“Hot Shit” is a playful yet biting commentary on self-absorbed behavior, delivered with Cil’s signature blend of sultry vocals and sharp wit. Opening with a jazzy piano, the song builds into a bouncy refrain where Cil teases, “Ain’t you some hot shit, baby? Trust me, I can tell. I just love the way you only ever talk about yourself.” The track showcases her vocal range and lyrical prowess, making it a standout on the EP.

The accompanying music video, which premiered alongside the single, is a visually captivating piece that complements the song’s theme. Directed with a jagged, playful aesthetic, the video has been well-received by fans and critics alike.

Cil’s don’t hold me accountable EP is a testament to her growth as an artist. Following the success of singles like “You’re a Liar (You Love Me),” “Loser,” and “Pretty Years,” the EP delves deeper into themes of Gen Z romance, mental health, and self-love. Collaborating with producer Evan Blair, Cil delivers a cohesive body of work that resonates with listeners on a personal level.
