Candi Bleu is a singer-songwriter, hailing from Baltimore, Maryland.

Their single “He Will Answer” made it to #33 on the Gospel Billboard Charts and the group also won the Gospel Superfest in 2014.

In 2018, Candi signed to C.NaTasha Richburg, to begin her journey onto her solo singing career. Her recent original release “I DO” explores her relationship and devotion to God and his plan for her life. “I DO” is Candi’s acceptance of God’s marriage proposal (Jeremiah 3:14), as she surrenders her life to his wisdom and everlasting light.

In this release, Candi creates stunning harmonies and poignant lyrics to express the divine peace that comes with laying your life in God’s hands.

Bio

Candi Bleu was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland by her mother and grandmother under the guidance of a small Methodist church. Ms. Bleu sang at church spontaneously in front of family and friends. Becoming a professional singer afforded Ms. Bleu opportunities for development as she sang background with Ruff Endz (Platinum Group), Next (Platinum Group), Monifah (R&B Divas), Fred Hammond (Multi Platinum legend) Chanel (trinity 5:7), Maurice Griffin (Sunday’s Best), and upcoming artist Sonny Dumarsais (IMEA nominee), to name a few.

In 2014 Candi Bleu sang with Brian Cook and Power Nation, and they won the 2014 Gospel Superfest. Additionally, Ms. Bleu sang the co-led on the Brian Cook and Power Nation song “He Will Answer”, which made #22 on the Gospel Billboard Charts. Well travelled, Ms. Bleu sung with the most amazing vocalists and band members who live in her hometown. Surrendering to God’s will for her life lead Ms. Bleu to step out as a solo artist vocalist in the Christian/Gospel music genre. In Spring 2018, Candi Bleu continued her musical journey as a solo artist managed by Jeremiah’s Kall manager C. NaTasha Richburg to continue her musical journey.

Candi Bleu once had the natural inclination to control life’s circumstances on her own. Ms. Bleu eventfully learned that trusting in God would lead her to the other side of bad circumstances to personal optimism and infinite possibilities. Thus, the song “I DO,” written by Candi Bleu, articulates her feelings about a moment when the realization of continuing down life’s road alone was no longer an option. Ms. Bleu learned to surrender her life, career, identity, marriage, family, etc. to God’s unchanging plan by accepting God’s marriage proposal (Jeremiah 3:14) with her melodic response, “I Do.” In the song “I DO,” Candi Bleu makes the vow to surrender herself to God. The listener will hear the sweet harmonies of peace that come with executing God’s plan for one’s life.

Candi Bleu wants to inspire audiences to seek to understand that God’s plan for their lives will move them toward fulfillment and everlasting peace. Ms. Bleu’s goal is to make music that invokes God presence by standing in belief of God’s word, Jeremiah 3:14 14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you…”
