Composer Steen Rylander is back on the scene with a new album, Sparkling Strings
Steen Rylander is a musical and composer based in Copenhagen, Denmark. His most recent release is actually a collection of songs that he previously created in the 80s and 90s, and each track has a personal meaning to him – exploring topics as diverse as friendships, memories, families, and more. There are many poignant moments and inspiring ideas, which turn this album into a beautiful and inspiring work of art. A statement, if you will, about life, loss, love, remembering what really matters and trying to make the most out of the time we’re given in this existence.
The album’s composition and production is also exciting, and even though the songs have been written at different times, there is a lot of consistency here!
“Sparkling Strings” is an exciting and diverse album, and each song focuses on a different topics, as well as incorporating different influences. Steen Rylander poured his heart into each composition, often focusing on deep personal themes. Although the songs are about things that the artist personally went through, a lot of the material is quite universal, and it can easily be interpreted by other people, who relate to the music.
