CYD is an Inland Empire native who was brought up in a family of gifted musicians and entertainers, so it came as no surprise when she reached out to singer, songwriter, producer and older brother, Chase Aaron to help steer her down a similar path. With lots of influences from artists and groups like Jhene Aiko, Danity Kane, Sam Smith and Disclosure, CYD has developed her signature sound before she has even completed high school. Her sweet and innocent tone fits in perfectly with the soft chords and flowing melodies that create her dream-like style. After releasing her debut single “No Good”, it became evident that the high school senior has plans of making a bigger impact on not only the R&B scene, but on music in general.
