Strat was born and raised in Rapid City, SD. He is multiracial consisting of Black, Native American and White. In his early 20’s he moved to Denver, CO. This is where he really honed in on his craft that he was familiar with since a child. After spending significant time in the Mile High City rocking shows, releasing mixtapes and garnering respect, life has brought him back to his roots in Rapid City. From his NEW EP “Roootz”…”Do Math” is a song about getting that bag. But it’s not just your everyday song about making money. “Do Math” is Strat’s essence shining thru…exquisite wordplay, captivating metaphors and just overall precise lyricism and flow, accompanied by raw yet upbeat production from Leon Literati.
