Purptools introducing brand new studio release: GEMINI.
June 2020 – Purptools is a rap artist based out of San Francisco. What makes his music special is definitely the fact that it combines different moods and textures. It ranges from dark and haunting vocal parts, Down to aggressive beats with a faster feel. More importantly, the lyrics and verses often have a very personal twist, dealing with the artist’s own life experiences, hopes, dreams, and expectations.
Purptools (also known as “Purp”) recently dropped a new project that highlights his artistry and vision. It sets the bar higher in terms of genre definitions and sonic aesthetics, going for a modern rap sound but also bringing more melody to the mix, in line with some edgy R&B influences and even some neo-soul.
This release comes highly recommended if you are a fan of innovative artists such as Mac Miller, as well as Pierre Bourne, Playboi Carti, or Gucci Mane, only to mention a few.
