Long ago I realized I wanted to write music and I rented a four-track (cassette) and locked myself in a room for a month and wrote my first 22 songs. 3 of them were pretty good. Its been that way ever since. The instruments I play are just a means to get songs recorded, so I consider myself a musician secondary to being a song writer.
