After a long period of contemplation, the anonymous Canadian collective Waveendz finally decides to grace us with a music video for their latest single “7 Diamonds”, officially unveiled on May 14th.
The artistic direction of the video, orchestrated by videographer Yves Lolo, displays the main member of the collective, named Guff, in a little solo night ride on the Jacques Cartier Bridge in Montreal.
The aesthetic of the video features a VHS texture, mixed with some subtle animation effects, while maintaining a modern vision.
In short, the video reflects the artist’s introverted character, as well as her determination to persevere and move forward in spite of life’s ups and downs.
