A classic 80’s sound with a modern twist – That’s the sound that John Vom vellis, Lead Guitarist, Founder and Namesake of Vom Vellis set out to achieve when forming his band back in 2006.
At only fourteen years old, John Vom Vellis set out to forge a band that would be heavily influenced by rock bands of the 80’s such as, Bon Jovi and Van Halen. While combining modern elements of music to structure what would become their signature sound.
Although it has taken 10 years for the ball to start rolling, it was pure determination and commitment to his musical vision that kept John from giving up on his dream.
Bringing along band members John Di Varo (Vocals/Bass) Geoff Koloveros (Keyboards) and Ian Chase (Drums) . John now had a complete lineup….
2018 is going to be a massive year for Vom Vellis as they are currently rehearsing for up coming gigs and are looking at heading into the studio later this year to begin recording their debut album.
