Independent dance-rock power trio ‘The Incredible Hook’ can perhaps best be summed up in a paragraph as a multimedia art-disco group from Memphis, TN whose sound is as cracked by its punk R&B as it is blessed by its alt-funk. If you enjoy either their energetic, ‘glam performance art’ laden live shows or their new EP ‘Repeat Betrayer’ (mixed at Ardent by Grammy award winning producer John Hampton) or both, then: fabulous. Because in spite of what their well rehearsed swagger would suggest, they would prefer that you do enjoy it – and greatly.
