Sid Hagan proudly presents new studio release, ‘Sere’
My first solo album that includes reworked songs from 2010 sessions and new songs from 2017. I co-produced it with Paul Curreri who also played on all of the tracks. His artistry and creativity is all over this project. I will be forever grateful to him for his vision and patience with me as I come from the old school of recording and needed someone to push me in new directions I would never have gone musically.
Huge thanks to Devon Sproule who helped me get back to writing songs again after not doing so for decades.
I’m grateful for collaborating with such mighty musicians over the years all of who are listed in the album credits. Like Paul, they also changed my music in ways I had never envisioned and took everything to another level.
Into The Desert, Travelin Man, See The Changes, Do For The Others, Parnell, and Coyote, were all originally recorded in 2010 but never released until now. They were all re-recorded in 2017.
Alliance Of Kindness, Sere, Away From Us were recorded in 2017/2018. Joanne, Louise, and Roll Me Easy were also re-recorded in Summer 2018 in memory of Robbie Wells and are only available here and not on the CD. Miss ya every day Robbie….”Are ya down with me hillbilly????”
