What is your name?   Sean Breed

Where are you from?   Brooklyn, New York born then the rest of the boroughs. Shoutout to Staten Island. The New Brighton housing projects shaped a lot of my memories. It was a war zone when my family lived there but we didn’t know it. We played tag and people got killed. We went to the store and got quarter waters and Chico sticks and people so crack. It was a way of life.

How long have you been making music?   I was about 12 when I started recording with a tape recorder that came with a plastic mic.
So about 2 thousand years give or take.

How many songs /albums have you released to date?    My first commercial release was a song called “Act Up” off the “D&D Project” compilation album on ARISTA Records. I went by illbreed in those days. I have released many singles since then.

Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it?   Glad you asked. My latest release is an album called H.I.T.L.E.R (Hate Is Taught Love Ends Racism). It’s a well diverse album that speak about social topics that are missing in today’s music…typically rap music. I wanted to balance the scales and create dialog.

How have you ended up in the music industry?   Tip the waiter. There’s no tips for this industry. the devil took those when he became CEO.

What do you think of the music industry in 2014?   I think that it’s exactly where it’s suppose to be. Entertainment follows the climate of the world. The world is f’d

Who do you think is the most influential artist?   I would have to say Drake. He is a force to be reckoned with.

Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?   Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Biggie….hold up. Do dreams count??

Dead or alive, who would be your dream collaboration?   Those mentioned from the dream.

What was the first album you bought?  I never brought anything because my brother BEAT’N da ODDZ was a Dj so he brought everything.

Do you have any tattoos or piercings?   I don’t have any tattoos. If nobody got them then I probably would have them.

Tell us more about this new project? I can’t disclose the song title and video I’m doing next but I will say one word. EPIC

What’s in the pipeline after this project?  Just to give people the truth

Thank you for your time and may you carry on making dope, fresh music.

SALUTE!
