Saccade presenting his new album, ‘The Pictures We Paint’
A native son of Los Angeles, Sam Davidson grew up on a steady diet of classic rock and began writing songs and producing music during college. He created Saccade a few years later, and enrollment at Icon Collective (Jauz, NGHTMRE, Slander) followed shortly after.
Drawing on influences from Anderson.Paak to What So Not, Leon Bridges to Louis the Child, Tom Misch to Skrillex, Saccade pursues compelling live performance augmented by visceral production.
Saccade began work on The Pictures We Paint EP following his father’s cancer diagnosis, and will release the EP one year and one day from his passing. The Pictures We Paint focuses on rebirth, transformation, and a conscious effort to draw light from darkness.
Saccade will support the EP with a number of releases throughout 2020.
