Olivia C. Dacal excited to present her new single, ‘Dream’
Olivia Celeste Dacal (born in Geneva, Switzerland) is an Australian singer-songwriter with a passion for jazz vocals. She has been classically trained in classic and jazz music at the Victoria College of the Arts Secondary School in Melbourne, Victoria Australia since 2017.
Olivia, currently seventeen, has won many awards throughout her young life. At her first performance at the age of nine, she placed 1st at the Eisteddfod for Musical Theatre, igniting her passion for singing. In 2018 she was awarded with the Sir Zelman Cowen Award from Monash University where she received 1st place in the category of Popular Emerging New Artist (Vocalist). In 2019 Olivia was accepted on a scholarship into the Manhattan School of Music (NYC) Jazz Vocalist Summer Program.
Olivia performed in “The Herald Sun Aria with Melbourne Opera” in 2018 and 2019 and she was featured in the jazz album “My Standards” with Drama Desk Award winning Janet Dacal. She has performed with talented musicians such as “The Galapagos Ducks”, “The Nadav Rayman Trio” and many other talented musicians.
Olivia writes, sings and produces her own music, her latest album “Dream” can be found on Spotify and all major platforms.
