Colombian rockers MAD DOGS hitting the scene with a new release, “Live Revolution Bar”
Hailing all the way from Bogotá City, Colombia, MAD DOGS set out to develop a sound that feels searing, direct and forward-thinking. Their music is a personal spin on the staple sounds of hard rock, bringing the best of the old school together with a sense for modern production aesthetics.
The band’s most recent studio effort, “Live Revolution Bar” is loaded with iconoclastic rock and roll songs that fill the room with palpable freedom, raw energy and excitement. The sound of the band makes us think of iconic acts such as Black Sabbath, Guns and Roses or Iron Maiden, while also tipping the hat off to contemporary acts like Royal Blood or Foo Fighters, among others.
This release is a really important step forward for the band, who is growing into a well-geared line up with a lot of chemistry and a very well-defined sonic vision.
