Kevin Silvester proudly presenting his new song, ‘Dear 16 Year Old Me’
Melbourne producer, DJ, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kevin Silvester is an electronic act, combining his heart-felt lyrics with pop vocals and electronic sounds. The 17-year-old draws comparisons to electronic artists like Said the Sky and Grey, whilst having avant-pop artists like Björk and SOPHIE as the core inspiration behind his production and songwriting. Being a classically trained pianist and cellist, he began writing music at the young age of 11 and taught himself music production at the age of 13.
Silvester made his debut in early 2019 with his singles, “You Don’t Know Me” and “Runway”. His single “On Your Mind”, featuring the Miami vocalist Elilo, has reached more than 180k streams on Spotify as of January 2020. The singles will be making an appearance on his debut album, “Sleepwalker”, expected later this year.
