Jin Gates – Best Out Here feat. David Tru:

We are pleased to introduce you to the grandiose, tycoon who is Jin Gates. Hailing from the East Coast, but with a heavy West Coast sound, Jin is not only a hip hop artist with a sick flow, but an entrepreneur with an acuity for fashion and business. His latest video, “Best Out There,” perfectly depicts his over-the-top, showy lifestyle. His lyrics match his lavish swagger, big dreams, and goals, and it is clear he will always come out on top. Jin Gates is a presence not to be ignored. Proving himself to be a trailblazer in today’s thriving street fashion and music community, his musical expertise only enhances his brand. His troubled past has propelled him into succeeding in this industry and it is quite clear in his new video, “Best Out There,” that he is a diamond in the rough- which could be taken quite literally, attributing to the insane amount of bling he garnishes in the video.

From the ages of 13 until 15, Jin served on the men’s World Cup team in Taekwondo representing the United States. While training a student at the age of 14, Jin quickly became enamored with the flamboyant appearance and lifestyle that the father of his student represented. Desiring a similar but more prosperous life, Jin left the sport of Taekwondo when he decided that the sport couldn’t afford him what he wanted. This decision led Jin down a dark path and at the age of 21, Jin had his first run in with the law. He pled to a lesser charge to avoid going to prison. After this, Jin received an Associate’s Degree in Business and Marketing, but more run-ins with the law (including jail time), convinced Jin that he had to start making wiser decisions and set higher standards for himself in order to live a better life.

Along with his brother Noi Seng, Jin approached a jewelry store owner that he knew for a job. From then on, Jin and Noi immediately took the jewelry store to the next level. Utilizing his relationships in the entertainment industry, Jin grew the business quickly, moving from being an employee to a partner. In 2015, having further increased the jewelry stores business, Jin and Noi decided to leave and venture into the fashion industry where Jin Was already known for his flashy and stylish flair. Today, Jin and Noi run their own street clothing line, Cash on Delivery (C.O.D.). The line has received co-signs from legends such as Kevin Gates, 50cent, DJ Khaled, Ben Baller, Styles P, Joel Ortiz, and Shannon Briggs.
