jimmy jetzun is a young versatile hip hop artist from north West London who’s bent on spreading all types of different vibes unto the world either through music, fashion, and art.
His style incorporates elements of trap, ambient psychedelic sounds, and lo-fi hip hop, and also has many sounds and styles that can appeal to both the underground and mainstream audience. jimmy jetzun can seamlessly switch from style to style and still maintain who he is as an artist and not compromise his individual artistry even if it’s outside his comfort zone.
jimmy jetzuns music captures the hazey journey of a young inner city kid who’s seeking spiritual growth and guidance but at the same time, finding it very difficult to juggle his growth as a person, with the dark inner city influences he can’t seem to run away from and the inner city lifestyle full of sex, money, drugs and bad decisions.
jimmy jetzuns influences in music can range from international artists like Kendrick Lamar and A$AP Rocky to local UK artists like Skepta and C Biz to even artists like Fela Kuti or Bands/groups like Pink Floyd and The Flatbush Zombies.
jimmy jetzun is also part of the creative collective called HerbaNinjaZ and is affiliated with the London Hip Hop group SoulRydahZ.
After a string of performances and events around London in 2017, jimmy jetzun is back in the studio currently working on his solo debut project called “JETLAG” which is due to be released at the end of the year and is also working on a joint EP with the London Music Collective ROOT73.
