LOSH, Welcome to Artist Rack! How’s it going?

It’s all going good, thanks

Your new single ‘One More Chance’ has an uplifting & summer vibe about it, how can you best describe the record & what is your favourite thing about the production?

The track has a very happy sound to it, and is a record with a lot of essential elements in it and mixed together makes it good as a whole. My favorite part has to be the groovy bass line on the drop.

What was your inspiration behind the sound?

I was inspired by the main synth of the track Till I Come by ATB, it has a very catchy sound and melody.

Is there anything that helped influence you to produce the record?

I wanted to create a track with a lot of energy on the drop, but also with nice vocals to give it a more commercial essence.

How did your collaboration with Bodhi Jones come about?

We met online and liked the work we where both doing so I decided to send over the instrumental version to collab on it.

We understand you’re originally from Venezuela but currently reside in Philadelphia, what was music like growing up in Venezuela & how do the two markets compare?

Very different setting, growing up in Venezuela the scene was more into EDM and all the mainstream commercial hits from 2010-2014 big room.. here in Philly people are more inclined into House and Bass House. At last music is universal, but I can see the difference in taste and specification of genre.

Any remixes on the agenda for ‘One More Chance’?

Haven’t thought about any potential remixers, but it would be cool to make a contest & see what comes around.

What advice would you give other producers & DJs, from your own experience?

Trial and error, keep trying and making new stuff every day to learn more & make yourself better – never give up because persistence is key.

And finally, any touring plans for 2018?

No major tour planned yet, just the occasional gig here and there. Let’s hope we can have something by the end of the year.
