Introducing ‘Running Out Of Love’ from US artist Jei Blvck, as the Miami based producer drops the single on global promo – which also features the melancholic vocals of Kieran Fowkes.

An amalgamation of vibes & underpinned by deeper elements – ‘Running Out Of Love’ embraces warm analogue textures, combined with cinematic style vocals.

A laid back record in its approach, the track is due for release just as the Spring season gets underway in the northern hemisphere & is set to pick up support in the weeks ahead.

Jei, Welcome to Artist Rack! How’s it going?

Thank you for inviting me and the label Artist Rack!
Pretty good on this side.

Where did the inspiration behind ‘Running Out Of Love’ come from?

‘Running Out Of Love’ came about last year during some emotionally hard time in my life. The song talks about running out of the power to love after being let down & hurt time after time. Having to deal with it on my own was hard. My escape and way to express how I was feeling was creating this song and many more.

How did your collaboration with Kieran Fowkes come about?

Funny you ask, Kieran & I have known each other for a few years, we’ve made I’d like to say about 5 tracks in the past but so far only released 2. He’s been a really big part of my music and creative work flow.

Do you plan to release any further remixes of the single?

We do have 1 on the way it will be released as a free remix on SoundCloud in the next few weeks.

What is the music scene like in Miami & how does it influence your music production?

Miami has always influenced this city gave me hope and has made me believe in myself. The scene here is everything a real electronic music enthusiast/ producer would want to be around. People here go out and know the artist by name you don’t get that anywhere else unless you’re in NY, Europe, or the UK.

Who are your main artist influences?

I’ve always been huge on Analog production Gary Numan’s – “I Dream Of Wires” is once of the biggest influential artist & tracks I’ve ever listened to. Anything with big synthesizer leads & Moog Bass I’m there for..

What are your highlights of the year so far?

So far being able to see people appreciate our sound and all the good feedback we’ve received. & of course working on our music and being able to collaborate with so many brilliant musicians

What are your goals/plans for the rest of 2018?

Getting Jei Blvck Rec exposure to grow and expand the label. We really wanna grow to help other artist we sign on grow with us

And finally, can we expect to hear more releases in the coming months?

A lot more of Jei Blvck x Ocarina x Kieran Fowkes coming your way this year
