Electrobuddha – Keep Dreamin

Electrobuddha PRESENTING ‘Keep Dreamin’

Electrobuddha started out life in a little basement garden flat in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm in 2001
where Mark was working as a local stagehand with Live Nation Sweden. Mark was getting to see a whole variety of musical genres each night with his job, and after purchasing some recording equipment, he set about to fuse rock with bhangra with elements of psychrock and tinges of folk.
In 2003, Mark returned to his native Scotland and released the first DIY Electrobuddha album ‘Bleep, Whirr, Disco! It was well received and the Glasgow Daily Record described it as ‘The Stones meets The Beta Band with Hendrix and James Brown on decks!’ Mark continued creating music from home and it wasn’t until 2011 that he put the Electrobuddha band together with the likes of Graeme Proctor on drums. The band played venues around Glasgow perfecting their psychrock sound for a couple of years before bereavement
interrupted Mark’s creativity with the passing of his parents. Writing began again after some years of a gap and the ‘Roller Disco’ album was released in 2018.

Probably Electrobuddha’s best album ‘The Psychedelic Kid’ was released in summer 2020 including the sublime track ‘Scandinavian Girls’ Now in 2022, Mark has found
new musicians for Electrobuddha and the band hope to be performing live again in summer 2022.

‘Keep Dreamin’ samples the Velvet Underground and Mark added brass, percussions, drums, bass and a great lyrical storyline/ Enjoy and share the sounds of Electrobuddha!
