Presenting new single, ‘My Type’ released by Cruzu, Alternate Jane & Peaceley
“My Type” is the story of romantic connection transcending distance, time, and illustrates the exhilaration of falling in love. This song is what unfolds when fiery, passionate rap and r&b meets the quiet intense spark of indie pop-rock, culminating in a pulsating duet speaking from the male and female perspective. “My Type” is a lovingly crafted, inter-genre collaboration between music producer Cruzu, rapper Peaceley – both based in the Netherlands – and upcoming singer-songwriter Alternate Jane from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The song was released on Valentine’s Day 2020.
Cruzu is a music producer, focused on making songs for an international audience. Growing up in a music enthusiastic family and multicultural environment as well as his appreciation for a wide range of genres, helped him develop a sound which combines different types of music. Currently, he is working on several projects with different artists and is focused on collaborating with talented vocal artists from all over the world.
Alternate Jane is a talented singer-songwriter from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, who is a doctor by day, and a musician by night. She is known for making Indie Pop/Rock songs such as “Skype Love” and “Confidence”, but stepped a bit out of her comfort zone when working on this song which turned out great.
Peaceley is a multilingual songwriter and rap artist from Burundi descent, who Cruzu already worked with on “Why You Gotta” & “Killing My Vibe”. They were working on a new track together and felt like it could use some soothing vocals by Alternate Jane, which resulted in the love song “My Type” and is now available on all major streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Deezer, and more.
