Corey Webb - Painted Paradise

Corey Webb is winning hearts with his debut “Painted Paradise”.

Corey Webb is an emerging pop-artist hailing from Tampa, Florida. He’s just dropped his electronic-pop EP “Painted Paradise” and it has already garnered fans on a worldwide level.

The first track on the release is “Paint Me a Picture” and it features a contemporary and fresh electronic soundscape with a poignant piano melody. On top of this, Corey’s vocals are expressive and evocative, recalling the likes of Billie Eilish and Halsey, to mention but two great singers.

“Stereotypical Ghost” is a powerful ballad that is reminiscent of the likes of Lana Del Ray and Blackbear. It’s a relatable and emotional song that showcases the artist’s strong creative flair.

In “Hey Stalker”, one of the most upbeat tracks on the EP, Corey Alec directly addresses the person who is obsessed with him. It’s a very distinctive and interesting approach to songwriting. This is followed by the final track, “Lonely Paradise’ which finishes off with the artist’s signature style!

This EP explores the reality that you can paint your own paradise. You don’t need to depend on someone else to do it for you. You can make yourself happy and that’s the exact opposite that society tells you.

In Corey’s own words,

“…if you’re looking for happiness in someone else, you will NEVER be happy until you find it in yourself first. LOVE yourself and everything else will fall into place. That’s the inspiring message I’m sending with this EP”

On top of this, Corey is a well-known v-logger and musician on YouTube as well as a Berklee certified music producer. You can check out his music videos at the link below!
