Jersey duo, Chandlar & Karen J, have just released their debut “Don’t Change”.
This vibrant husband and wife group have just offered listeners the first glimpse into the sultry, loving, and inviting world of their musical partnership. In their brand new track, they explore deep concepts such as love, honor, and companionship.
The pair is no stranger to the stage! Boston native Karen J was part of the popular female group Phajja, which was signed to Warner Bros and was heavily featured on T.V. Chandlar hails from Chicago and is now based in NYC and has created music for the likes of Montel Jordan and NoID. Together, they have created something utterly unique and magical!
Their music is like a pairing between Stevie Wonder and Whitney Houston. Karen J’s vocals are expressive and evocative, almost like Aretha Franklin. Chandlar has the range and quality of a contemporary Marvin Gaye. Although they have the same quality as these classic acts their new song has a more contemporary R&B feel.
