Brooklyn Queen – Keke Taught Me

Brooklyn Queen – Keke Taught Me:

11-year-old Brooklyn Queen is a pint sized artist delivering a big punch. Named by her mother, Detroit emcee Nailnotorious Kim, in honor of the legendary Biggie, this Motor City pop/rap artist effortlessly lives up to the hype cast upon her at an early age. Her biggest inspiration is Beyonce, who has taught her how to smile, dance, and cry through the power of music. It is her goal to relay this same visceral emotion to her own fans. In her newest video, “Keke Taught Me,” she brings the fun, she brings the sass, and perhaps most importantly, she brings the house down!

To call Brooklyn Queen just a rapper would be selling her short. Besides effortlessly straddling the line between pop and rap, she also sings, dances, acts, and can even model. With appearances on stage with Rob Base, Vanilla Ice, and Salt-N-Pepa as a backup dancer, she’s learning for the legends and each week brings more fans, more views, and more attention to her rapidly expanding tent.

In the dazzling new video for “Keke Taught Me,” Brooklyn Queen proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that despite her tender age, she can throw down and have a good time like the best of them. Though specifically instructed by her outgoing uncle that there shall be no parties she hits her social media hard to spread word of a big blow out (even labelmate Que 9 joins the party). Bright lights, loud music, and the pizza meant for her and her grandma feeds the crowd. When her uncle returns to find the gang exhausted and asleep on the floor there’s little he can do but throw his hands up in the air in amazement that such a little girl could pull off such a big party!
