Black Wolf Mountain announces new single: Hangman.
December 2020 – Black Wolf Mountain is a driven rock band with a focus on channeling some old-school sounds, repurposed in a more modern format.
Hailing from Cave Creek, AZ, the combo managed to develop a driven sound, with monolithic rhythm sections and soaring guitars, not to mention the charismatic lead vocals – as heard on their most recent studio single, “Hangman.”
The wider, dynamic sound texture of this energetic song is actually a big musical achievement, for a band, especially in a time when rock music is threatened by the pitfalls of overproduction and staleness. This is definitely not the case here, as Black Wolf Mountain set out to adopt a much more personal attitude, allowing their songwriting to stand out and reveal its innermost nuances.
