Beast – Put it up

Beast to release brand new track, Put it Up

Beast is a hip-hop artist hailing from Brooklyn, New York. He followed in the footsteps of some of the greatest artists of the genre, creating a sound that’s loaded with punch, warmth, and personality.

His most recent release, “Put it Up” is actually a great example of what you can expect from an artist who is determined to leave a mark with his music, and he works hard to achieve his vision, one bar at a time.

In terms of production, “Put it Up” is loaded with gritty, warmth tones, reminiscent of great analog recordings. His style has got that Brooklyn vibe, and that distinctive East Coast spice giving it a distinctive feel.

Bio

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY on March 20th 1989. At the age of 16 my family then moved to the Bronx and been here ever since. I got influenced by local artist such as shimmy choo, Don Q, albee al, Vennessy and many others. I fell in love with music at an early age. By 12yrs old I was writing raps and freestyling in school and other people would ask me to write a rap for them so they could battle rap someone. I did some songs using a headset or a webcam mic and a free program called mixpad and wavepad, sound quality was bad but I was happy doing it. Life got busy when i grew up I had to work to help pay bills in the house and i lost my passion for music but i rediscovered it at 28 and at 29yrs old i started going to studios to record. Currently working on a E.P. titled Brooklyn to Bronx. So i rep both boroughs.

I know it seems odd but I got love for my Bronx people and my Brooklyn people, remember “Spread love it’s the Brooklyn way”. I am Dominican American, I was born here but I love my Dominican culture, both my parents were born in Dominican republic and I go to D.R. whenever I can to enjoy the beautiful island. I hope to someday make music in english and spanish like pitbull and many other artist. My first performance ever is on March 24th at the West end lounge in NYC I’m so excited and nervous i can’t wait for people to hear my music.
